Engraving graphics or text is included in the price of the product, unless otherwise noted.
We routinely do custom work for our clients.  In most cases there are no design or setup fees.  Special requests are quoted on an individual basis.

The answer is it depends. The quality of the original image greatly determines the quality of the engraving. Graphics or photos that are faded, have low detail, or shadows on a subject will not work. High contrast and high detail images produce the best results. When it comes to image size, bigger is better.

Vector Art (.ai, .cdr, .dxf, .eps, .pdf, .svg) with text converted to outlines.

Hi-res bitmap files (.png, .tif, .jpg, .jpeg) at 300dpi or better works best.

Vector based artwork is resolution independent and can be scaled without loss of detail.

Bitmaps are comprised of pixels (dots) that enlarge when the image is enlarged. The larger a bitmap gets, the more pixels are visible which makes the image appear blurry with jagged or pixelated edges.

Vector art lasers better, but bitmaps can often be converted by our graphics expert, as long as the image is of high quality to start with.

Black and white artwork is preferred. If you send a color image we convert it to grayscale or black and white prior to engraving.

Most of the time our graphics expert can make any logo or graphic work. If we have questions or issues we’ll email you after you place your order. If you’re not sure your art will work email it to graphics@3dimensionalcreations.com for a review and recommendation. 

Remember: High contrast and high detail images produce the best results. When it comes to image size, bigger is better.

Looking for a specific font? Send us the information or an image containing the font you want. Chances are we have the font in our library.


Resolution refers to the amount of pixels in a particular image and is generally measured in dots per inch (dpi). High resolution files generally result in a higher resolution engraving. A 300dpi or better image is preferred for bitmap files.

We can engrave photos on wood, marble, and acrylic. The higher the quality of the photograph, the higher the quality of the engraving. Photos that are faded, have low detail, or shadows on a subject will not work. Photos with sharp contrast and little noise in the background work best. Pictures should be sent to us in the largest size available and have a minimum resolution of 300dpi. Do not compress the photograph before sending it. If we do not think a photograph is acceptable, you will be notified.
Permission should always be obtained from the original photographer whenever reproducing an image.  Please call if you have any questions.

If the team's logo is copyrighted or trademarked then NO.
If we are provided written permission to reproduce an item we will consider it.
Customers assume complete responsibility to obtain and submit to us written permission for reproduction of logos, trademarks & copyrights.  By agreeing to engrave any submitted artwork, 3Dimensional Creations will not be held liable under any circumstances.

We reserve the right to refuse any order to engrave graphics or photos that we, at our sole discretion, deem offensive or inappropriate.


On our website you can browse to find the products you would like, select any available options, indicate your text engraving preferences, add the items to your cart and proceed to checkout. We offer a secure checkout process and accept most major credit cards as well as PayPal, and Apple Pay.

When your payment is successfully processed you will receive a confirmation email.

Once approved a numbered and signed purchase order must be emailed or faxed to us before we begin production.

On the product page you can request a mockup or proof. We will email a pre-production proof, upon request, after receiving payment for your order.  We will not begin engraving until we have your approval.  If any edits are required to a proof, please let us know as soon as possible and a corrected proof will be sent to you. 

Engraved item colors and detail may vary from online images due to differences between computer color display capabilities, photographic lighting, image editing, and due to variations in natural materials such as wood, leather, and stone.

Fax proofs available upon request.

Production time varies with complexity and quantity, but our standard is 1-3 business days for most orders.

If you've requested a proof we will begin working on your proof within 1-2 business days.

After you have approved your proof most items will ship within 1-3 business days.

Unique items requiring special design, layout, construction, painting and finishing work will extend the standard processing time.

Rush order service is available for an additional fee.

You may change your order at any time prior to engraving free of charge.  Changes can no longer be made once a proof has been approved and the engraving process has begun.

If your order is incorrect from the approved proof it will be replaced free of charge.  Orders completed based on an approved proof are considered final and cannot be refunded. 

Orders may be cancelled for any reason, prior to rendering a proof, at no charge.  If we have delivered a proof for your order and you decide to cancel a $10.00 fee will be deducted from your refund.


We accept most major credit cards as well as PayPal, and Apple Pay through our secure checkout process.

When your payment is successfully processed you will receive an order confirmation email.

On a pre-approved basis we will accept company checks.


We use UPS and the USPS. 

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.

It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

The customer assumes responsibility for the shipment after it leaves our facility. All claims regarding damaged or missing boxes should be made with carrier. It is very important that you inspect your product upon receipt. It is also very important that you DO NOT discard any of the packaging. Returns & Refunds

We work hard to ensure that all personalized products are custom engraved to your specifications.

Personalized, custom, and special order items will be replaced if they are defective but are not returnable.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your order. If you are not happy with your order you can return it within 30 days.

Please review our process on how to return a product.

Contact us within 30 days to obtain a Return Authorization. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item to us.

At your option we will provide your with a replacement product, a store credit, or a refund.

All replacements, store credits, or refunds will be completed within 30 days.
